NBNA Day of Service in Dallas

On Friday, August 8th, our Suffolk County Black Nurses Association members proudly joined fellow NBNA chapters and the NBNA Uniformed Services Task Force for a powerful Day of Service at the Union Gospel Mission of Dallas.

We served meals, distributed personal care items and toiletries, and connected with the local community in meaningful ways. It was a day filled with compassion, unity, and purpose.
“It was an amazing experience to give back alongside our nursing family. Moments like these remind us why we serve.”

Thank you to NBNA and the Union Gospel Mission for allowing us to be part of this impactful initiative. Service is at the heart of nursing—and we’re honored to carry that spirit forward.
