On July 3, 2025, the Suffolk County Black Nurses Association proudly participated as a vendor at the vibrant Amityville Street Fair, and what a day it was!
Our Educational Committee showed up with heart and purpose, offering giveaways, interactive games, and educational materials for all ages.
For our younger visitors, we sparked conversations around internet safety, shared fun coloring pages, and played engaging games that made learning feel like play.
For adults, we emphasized the importance of annual physicals, routine check-ups, and staying proactive about their health. Our team was on hand to answer questions and share resources to support lifelong wellness.
The energy was uplifting, the conversations meaningful, and as the day drew to a close, a beautiful rainbow graced the sky, symbolizing hope, unity, and the power of
community.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We’re honored to serve and educate our community one conversation at a time.
